The IP Fair 2025, held from 15–17 August at Samyan Mitrtown, Bangkok, brought together innovators, creators, businesses, and IP professionals under the theme “Vibrant Ideas Unleashed: Igniting the Power of Creativity to Build Economy through Intellectual Property.” Organised by the Department of Intellectual Property (DIP), Ministry of Commerce, this year’s event was a lively mix of knowledge, culture, and entertainment that highlighted how intellectual property drives creativity and economic growth.
Royal recognition – An exhibition of works by Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya was a centrepiece of the fair, following the conferral of the prestigious WIPO Award for Creative Excellence 2025 by WIPO Director General Daren Tang. The award recognised Her Royal Highness’ internationally acclaimed contributions in fashion, copyright, and trade marks, as well as her efforts to empower local artisans and preserve Thai cultural heritage.
IP Champions 2025 – Aawards were presented to celebrate those who have not only protected their intellectual property successfully but also demonstrated how strong IP management can create enduring value for their products, innovations, and brands. This year’s honorees included:
