Biography
Johanna works with all types of patent issues, such as investigations, preparations, processing of applications, infringement, validity analysis, etc. Johanna primarily focuses on patenting within electrical/electronics, IT, and mechanics. She has extensive experience in the automotive industry as an outside counsel and from an in-house perspective, within a wide range of IP areas ranging from Electric and telematics to Active Safety, User experience, Design, and so forth.
Prior to joining Valea, Johanna worked at Awapatent between 2006 and 2012. Prior to that, she was an engineer at Evidente as well as Sigma, working primarily within the automotive field with the integration of navigation systems, telephone, and telematics. Moving even further back in time, Johanna worked as a field application engineer at Motorola, focusing on semiconductors such as microcontrollers for controlling, for example, a vehicle’s seats, windows, and windshield wipers.
