Biography
Manoon is a Principal specialising in contentious intellectual property (IP) matters and litigation. He is a qualified Thai Patent Agent and Attorney at Law with extensive experience in IP across Thailand.
Currently, Manoon provides expert advice on IP disputes, patent and trade mark litigation, and represents leading local companies in securing patent protection both in Thailand and internationally.
He has comprehensive experience in various aspects of IP law, including patent and trade mark registration, preparing and recording IP license agreements, advising on IP acquisitions and compulsory licensing issues, and negotiating conflict resolutions. Manoon represents numerous clients across a wide range of industries, including consumer products, food and beverage, cosmetics, electronics, automobiles, and entertainment.
In addition to his client work, Manoon shares his expertise by lecturing on IP law at universities and governmental institutions and speaking at seminars and training courses.
Alongside the head of Rouse Thailand's dispute resolution team, Manoon has successfully led efforts in representing both domestic and international clients in enforcing their IP rights and defending them in legal disputes. His cases include patent infringement and invalidation actions, trade mark infringement and cancellations, and appeals against decisions of the Trademark Board before the IP Court of First Instance, reaching decisions in the Supreme Court.
