Myanmar: Update on Operations 4 April

IPD continues to face operational challenges

Since our last update, the Intellectual Property Department (IPD) continues to face operational challenges as well as a server failure due to significant damage to their main building in Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar's capital. As a result, new filing applications and all operations are on hold. According to the IPD’s Yangon office, notifications regarding exceptions and deadline extensions will be provided once the system is operational again as it is currently working to establish a server at this location.

We will inform you as soon as we receive any further updates from the IPD.
