Biography
Alexander Son is a German Lawyer (Rechtsanwalt). Since 2001, he has advised German and Korean clients on national and cross-border prosecution and litigation in Intellectual Property, with a particular focus on patents and trademarks.
Alexander represents clients in the enforcement of their IP rights, especially before the German Courts, and advises on license agreements. As a native Korean speaker working in German, English, and Korean, he bridges the gap between Korean companies seeking to obtain and protect their rights in Europe and European clients pursuing patent filings and disputes in Korea. Complex technical and legal matters can therefore be handled without language barriers or loss of nuance.
Alexander studied law at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn and completed his legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Cologne and in Seoul. He maintains a close network with leading Korean associations, companies and IP firms.
